Pub(lishing) Crawl at Comic-Con!

Are you going to be attending this year's San Diego Comic-Con event? If so, you MUST meet up with us Pub(lishing) Crawlers! From panels to signings to ol' fashioned exploring, we'll be spanning Comic-Con from Thursday to Sunday--and we'd LOVE to see you!

Quick Tip for First Timers: Wear comfortable shoes—you'll be on your feet all day—and layering your clothes is a must. According to veteran Marie Lu, "all the crowds make for the occasionally hot mucky room (and hot outdoors) but other rooms will make your butt freeze off!"

Thursday, July 11:

10:00 AM

Marie Lu will be signing ARCs of Prodigy and limited editions of Legend!

"Not with a Bang, With a Bite" panel, featuring Susan Dennard, Max Brooks, Jeyn Roberts, Michael Spradlin, Mira Grant, Diana Rowland, Stephen Blackmoore, and Dana Fredsti. Location: Room 6A

2:30 PM

Susan will be signing EARLY COPIES of Something Strange and Deadly. Yep! You can get a final copy of the book 2 weeks before release—not to mention a bunch of book-themed swag. Location: Autograph Area AA09, Sails Pavilion

3:00 PM

"Hungry for Dystopia" panel, featuring Marie Lu, Anna North, Neal Shusterman, Lissa Price, Paolo Bacigalupi, Michael Grant, Daniel H. Wilson, and Gennifer Albin. Location: Room 25ABC

Quick Tip for First Timers: It's highly possible you'll see famous people!! Keep your cameras ready!

Marie will be signing more ARCs of Prodigy and limited editions of Legend! Location: Penguin booth

Quick Tip for First Timers: Food can be hard to come by! According to Marie, "It's really hard to eat at a restaurant near the convention center unless you have reservations, or are prepared to wait in epic lines." As such, Leigh Bardugo suggests bringing your own snacks and hydration!

Marie will be signing again (what a celebrity!!). Get an autographed ARC of Prodigy or limited edition of Legend. Location: Penguin booth

Noon

Leigh will be signing Shadow and Bone. She'll have posters of Keith Thompson's map of Ravka and custom Shadow and Bone nail polish to give away! Location: MCPG booth (1220)

Quick Tip for First Timers: If you're wanting to see a panel, get there EARLY! The lines are epic (Leigh suggests bringing reading material) and the days are packed. Pick a few things you want to do each day and plan around those events.

"What's Hot in Young Adult Fiction" panel, featuring Leigh Bardugo, Nathan Bransford, James Dashner, Kami Garcia, Tahereh Mafi, Melina Marchetta, Lish McBride, Myra McEntire, and Scott Westerfeld. Location: Room 25ABC

Quick Tip for First Timers: Bring cash! There's tons of fun stuff to buy, and Leigh says, "it's quicker/easier to have cash on hand!"
